Newport Beach Christmas Parade of Lights Opening Night is December 19th

One of the most prime viewing locations of the Newport Beach Christmas Parade of Lights can be found at the Marina Park located at 1600 W. Balboa Boulevard in Newport Beach. There is lots of space for the children to run around as well as a nautical-themed playground and a beach. Every year on opening night, they always kick off the event with fireworks. Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. with family-friendly activities including face painters, caricature artists, LA Chargers football toss competition and food vendors. Where to Find the Holiday Boat Parades in Orange County!

Here’s a fun holiday tradition that you can enjoy with your family and friends – Go see a holiday boat parade in Orange County! We try to do this every year. Since we are within close proximity to the beaches and harbors, we can select from several viewing spots along Dana Point Harbor, Huntington Harbor, or Newport Harbor. Harbor Breeze Cruises – Holiday Boat Cruise Long Beach

One of the very fun things we like to do during the holidays as a family in SoCal is watch a Holiday Boat Parade. There are several and if you look up their routes, you could find a great spot to watch it from land. This year, we saw a 2-in-1 on the water with Harbor Breeze Cruises.
