Does your child love to dance, sing, act, and perform? If you’re looking for the perfect summer camp, you’ll want to look into performing arts camps with THE YOUNG AMERICANS! They’re bringing 7 camps to SoCal this June through August for students of all experience levels and in grades 3rd to 12th Grade. The week-long camps are designed to help them grow as performers. No prior experience is necessary. Campers will be learning, creating and rehearsing their own 1-hour professionally-produced variety show, and on the final night of the camp, they’ll perform it for the community with THE YOUNG AMERICANS!
Spend a Whole Week Performing with World-Renowned Performance Group, THE YOUNG AMERICANS! This comprehensive 5-day performing arts camp includes everything from vocal and dance to full stage performance, acting, song writing, lighting techniques, costuming and stagecraft. After five days of intensive performance instruction, it’s show time! This show is jam-packed with choral, musical theatre, rock n’ roll, and more! THE YOUNG AMERICANS cast of 40 performs the first act as a “Thank You” to the community and campers. In the second act, campers take the stage to perform the 1-hour show they have learned over the past 5 days. THE YOUNG AMERICANS cast performs alongside campers in the second act in case any camper forgets a dance step, song lyric, or just needs an extra boost of confidence and energy!
The Camp Instructors include 30+ performers ages 18-24. The college-aged cast of specially trained performers/teachers provides a safe and exciting atmosphere for campers to learn, create, and grow! THE YOUNG AMERICANS have all received training at THE YOUNG AMERICANS College of the Performing Arts prior to touring, making it an all-inclusive experience for kids of all backgrounds and experience levels.
