MOVIE REVIEW: Muppets Most Wanted | #Printables #MuppetsMostWanted

The other night we took the family to a pre-screening of Disney’s NEW Muppets Most Wanted movie. Right outside the theater, they had this pretty cool vault for a great photo op.

Being our first Muppets movie, we really didn’t know what to expect, however, it didn’t take long to understand that it’s a musical, and you know how much we love musicals. In the opening number, we learn that it’s their seventh sequel.

FUN FACT: “Muppets Most Wanted” is the seventh sequel to their original motion picture 1979’s “The Muppet Movie”. The new film is the eight movie in 35 years!

The movie takes the Muppets on a European Tour. Constantine, the World’s Number One Criminal, looks just like Kermit and somehow manages to successfully switch identities with Kermit and pulls off some heists. How long does it take for Kermit’s friends to know he’s missing? Will Miss Piggy marry the wrong frog? Will Constantine get away with his crimes? You’ll have to watch to find out.

There’s a ton of celebrity cameo appearances – Danny Trejo, Tom Hiddleston, Celine Dion, Salma Hayek, P Diddy, Christoph Waltz and Ross Lynch.

My kids loved the movie. Their favorite parts are with Kermit and Constantine. I loved Tina Fey as Nadia and the scene when the two detectives were comparing their badges – just hilarious! We thought the musical number when Constantine sang about Being #1 and his #2 will never be #1 was just clever!
