World’s Largest LEGO Brick Queen Mary Ship Now at The Queen Mary!

The World’s Largest LEGO Brick Model Ship of The Queen Mary has arrived, and it’s now on display aboard The Queen Mary! When certified LEGO Builders, Bright Bricks Inc., decided to build this huge model, they never dreamed it would someday come to Long Beach and be on displayed at the actual Queen Mary. Companies from around the world hire them to interpret their products using LEGO bricks, but they decided to build the Queen Mary just for fun. It involved four professional builders, over 250,000 individual LEGO bricks, over 600 hours, and almost 4 months to build. It’s incredible!

If you love all things LEGO, you’ll have to go see this. The model is amazing. There is so much details involved. The Masterbuilder told me that they used actual blueprints of The Queen Mary that were available online, and scaled it down from there. My children had fun building at the stations with their dad, and we also went on tour to learn more of the history. It was a great learning experience.

“I can’t wait to see the look on the faces of the children who come to the exhibit and are confronted by this magnificent LEGO brick model. And for those tall enough; some children might notice a tiny top-hatted mini-figure of Sir Winston walking the upper deck,” said Queen Mary General Manager John Jenkins.
