We don’t do Family Movie Nights as often as we should, but it’s always fun and easy to do. I like that we can catch up on movies we missed in the theater in the comfort of our homes, but it’s also a great way to revisit films that we already love. This weekend, we celebrated the Blu-ray/DVD release of Kung Fu Panda 3. In the third movie, lovable Po has to defeat a supernatural villain, Kai, but to do so, he has to learn how to be a true master of chi. Po reunites with his birth-dad who takes him back to a Secret Panda Village where he has to rediscover what it’s like to be a Panda.
Movie Kit
As a FHEInsider, we received a Blu-ray copy and a party kit which included plushies, a dim sum kit, chopsticks, cups, and place mats. The only thing missing was the food which I was able to pick up locally. You can also serve noodles, steamed dumplings, or steamed bao buns. My kids love the Hong Kong Egg Custard Tarts which worked perfectly with the theme.
