Where to Eat

If you're looking for ideas where to take the family for lunch or dinner, here are some family-friendly places I have tried.

Grasslands Meat Market Anaheim GardenWalk

If you are a hungry bunch, love to eat meat, and are near Disneyland/Anaheim area, GRASSLANDS Meat Market at the Anaheim GardenWalk is a full service restaurant, and they have a great selection of meats to satisfy everyone. We ordered the family dinner which came with 4 meat selections, 2 sides, and a tossed salad. We ordered the salmon, roasted chicken, and BBQ Shrimp. You can order a variety or double up on something you already know everyone will like. For example, we doubled up on the fish. Everything was quite tasty including the Brazilian Garlic Rice, and we were wondering if we had too much food. Not knowing how much food … READ MORE

Las Brisas Laguna Beach New Patio Menu

Last week, my husband and I had a date night so we headed over to LAS BRISAS in Laguna Beach to try their new items on their patio menu. As they are located off Pacific Coast Hwy, they are very close to the beach. We were dining with an amazing view. It was hot and sunny that day, but the umbrellas were up giving us shade. As the sun started to set, they slowly took them down. Patio seating is first come first serve. As you can imagine, you might need to hang out a little to snag a table. There are also seating indoors, and a more formal dining area. It makes … READ MORE

Camping: Meal Planning Tips for Large Groups

Meal Planning was a big part of our experience at Yosemite National Park. You might have seen some of the fun things we served across our social feeds. When you’re going with a large group, prior planning is necessary so that you are not only sharing the cost, but you’re feeding everyone in a timely manner and you’re not wasting food either. You can get as creative as you’d like and most everyone (since they are hungry) will try it. I couldn’t ask for a better group to do this with, and it all came out so good. When everyone do their part, it comes out beautifully. Meal Planning Group … READ MORE
