Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour opens a new location in Buena Park! At Farrell’s, it’s all about the “Stache”. Mustaches and ice cream? How can we say, No? For Starters, my friend and I ordered this Old Fashioned Onion “Hill” (not Mountain). When it came out we thought they made a mistake, because we asked for the small version and got this NOT so small “Hill”. My Swiss Turkey Focaccia came with roasted turkey breast, avocado, Swiss cheese, and pesto. DINING: Wood Ranch Irvine Spectrum

Not too long ago, we were invited to a menu tasting at Wood Ranch located at the Irvine Spectrum for a Mom’s Night Out. A night out with the ladies and BBQ? Of course, I said, YES!! Dominique’s Kitchen Redondo Beach

We were invited to have a family dinner at Dominique’s Kitchen, a Euro-French restaurant. It wasn’t as intimidating as I thought it would be. About a week ago, we ventured out of OC to Redondo Beach. I was a little nervous, because my young kids are wild, but I was reassured that families are welcomed. My first reactions were this place is really trendy and nice inside. My visiting sister-in-law’s husband is a huge fan of Food Network’s: The Great Food Truck Race Show so when I got their detailed itinerary, I saw that they wanted to visit gourmet Food Trucks. She mentioned there was one in Yorba Linda, but there are quite a few in Orange County. I remembered OC Fairgrounds have them.
