Sometimes you need to make a little time to celebrate being a girl, wear tiaras, and feel like a princess. Needless to say, I was the best auntie of the day. Walking With Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular Downloadable Activity Sheets

On Mother’s Day this year, we took our boys to Discovery Science Center to meet a life-sized Baby T-Rex from Walking With Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular. While we waited for the presentation to begin, the kids enjoyed running around the Prehistoric Plaza located toward the back of the center where they explored fossil digs. At Dino Quest: Kids can go on a fun and educational scavenger hunt at Discovery Cube Orange County. Jere Lipps, Director of the John D. Reptile Zoo Orange County

Last week, we had a play date at The Reptile Zoo. Once we got inside, the kids all gathered around a pond and wanted to feed the animals. For $3.25, you can choose between worms to feed the animals in the pond or a bag of veggies to feed the tortoises. I let my kids decide, and both chose the animals in the pond. You can see a picture of them picking them up with tongs and the animals swimming up to them. You can also feed lettuce to tortoises.
