Do you know about Kids FREE San Diego in October? Well, SeaWorld San Diego is on that list! When you purchase an adult admission, a child gets in FREE! It also includes admissions to Halloween Spooktacular weekends in October! The same offer applies to Breakfast with Orcas, Dining with Orcas, and Dolphin Interaction. I will give you another hint. Their Trick-or-Treating starts at noon and runs until the park closes! More reasons to come early and plan to stay the whole day. Not only will the animal exhibits be open and there be themed decorations all around the park, there is a new Dia de los Muertos celebration, the Manta ride has been transformed into MADNESS, Clyde & Seamore always put on a great show for every season, Elmo and friends are all dressed up for the occasion and they’re trying to solve a mystery – “Who Said Boo?”, dance parties that start during the day and last through the night, and more! Children are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes. Available every weekend in October, SeaWorld is offering one child, aged 3 to 9, free admission with one full-paid adult admission through October!
Dia de los Muertos
New this year for Spooktacular will be a family-friendly celebration of the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos. Large, beautifully dressed Catrina statues will welcome guests as they discover ofrendas (offerings) of mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have left us.
Children 12 and under are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes. There are 12 underwater-themed trick-or-treating stations.
Trick-Or-Treat Bag Policy
Please do not bring plastic bags for trick-or-treating to protect animals and the environment. Bring your own reusable bag or Halloween bucket from home for the treats. If you forget, you can pick up a bag at the gift shops for as little as 99¢. 5% of each bag purchase will go directly to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. (See image for options).
Spooktacular Dance Party
Do the Monster Mash at Spooktacular’s dance party with DJ Cotton Candy, Colonel Candy Corn, Lolly Pop N’ Lockit, Goody Gumdrop, the King of Candy, plus new this year, Tabitha Taffy and Timothy Toffee.
Clyde and Seamore’s Big Halloween Bash
Offered daily, Clyde & Seamore with the little help from OP Otter will perform to their favorite Halloween classics. Their shows are always comical and fun to watch! Clyde & Seamore’s Big Halloween Bash is performing at the park’s Sea Lion and Otter Stadium.
Who Said Boo?!
The Sesame Street friends have arrived at Count’s Castle for a Halloween Party but they are spooked because they can’t figure out “Who Said Boo?!” Check the program guide for show times at the Mission Bay Theater.
The Manta ride has turned dark. Climb aboard if you dare to experience the spooky special effects and creepy sounds putting you in the middle of the MADNESS.
