5 Character Dining Locations at Disneyland

One of the most unique experiences at Disneyland that I like to share with my friends is Character Dining. Some are inside the park and some are at the hotels in which you do not have to have park tickets to enjoy meet-and-greets with the beloved characters. There are five, and they’re all different. There is the host and their three friends. The three friends are surprises and you won’t know until you get there.

Medieval Times Buena Park Castle – Going Behind the Scenes

One of the popular attractions in Orange County for both visitors and locals is the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament – Buena Park Castle. On special occasions, we can watch an epic battle and feast with our hands. One time we were invited to go on an exclusive behind the scenes tour, and it was a truly remarkable experience. As their special guests before the show, we sat and observed the knights practicing with their horses. They practice every day. These guys go through an extensive training process to become a knight and they’re passionate about their jobs. Fun fact – long hair is encouraged when you’re a knight because the short hair look is not so medieval. You can have short hair too, but you’ll have to wear chainmail coifs.

Segerstrom Center: 2016-2017 International Dance Series Schedule + Ticket Giveaway #LetsPlayOC

One of the things I absolutely love to do is see a theatrical performance whether it be a Broadway Musical or see a ballet. It is a real treat for me. (Ballet is part of their International Dance Series.) I am looking over their schedule now and sharing it below. There’s something about the art of ballet that is just graceful and timeless. Some are more contemporary than others but when a story can unfold beautifully on stage live, I just love it! … READ MORE >>

Rockin Jump Orange County Ticket Giveaway! #LetsPlayOC

Do your kids need to burn off energy? I like to keep mine moving or they will watch TV or play games all summer. Arranging play dates is the way to go, because it makes it harder to get out of. (I feel more committed when it’s on my calendar.) One of our favorite indoor trampoline places in Orange County is Rockin’ Jump in Santa Ana. It is one of the newer ones, and it doesn’t have that overwhelming stinky smell. Part of it is because they make everyone buy their socks (no exceptions).
