Knott’s Soak City Water Park Orange County

Knott’s Soak City Waterpark is Orange County’s largest outdoor water park with over 15-acres of fun. Last year they added two new water slide towers, Shore Break and The Wedge. They also added 2 acres during their expansion and renovation project. It added new shaded seating areas, spacious cabanas, and added a new remodeled Longboard’s Grill. Shore Break towers over seven stories high and offers six different water slide experiences. Four of the slides include Aqua Launch chambers which drops the floor from underneath then sends the riders on a vertical free fall through a series of loops and curves. Yikes! Knotts Berry Farm – Boardwalk Rides

Knott’s Berry Farm welcomed their newest rollercoaster, HangTime, the only dive coaster on the West Coast to the theme park in May 2018. Just in time for the summer season, HangTime towers 150 feet over the Boardwalk area, showcasing gravity-defying inversions, mid-air suspensions and twisting dive tracks. HangTime sends riders up a vertical lift hill into a 15-story 96-degree drop (the steepest drop in California). The coaster’s train comes to a halt once the highest peak is reached, and will leave riders suspended at the crest for several seconds staring downward at a 60-degree angle, giving the illusion of a disappearing track. Then the train descend in a beyond-vertical drop, … READ MORE >>

Medieval Times Buena Park Castle New Show!

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, I have frequented MEDIEVAL TIMES DINNER & TOURNAMENT in Buena Park several times over the years, and it never gets old. The best part is – I didn’t have to cook! You can give Moms a night off from household chores and remind everyone, chivalry is not dead. The dinner show is an epic battle over which Knight is the most honorable and most skilled over tournament games, jousting, sword fighting, and horsemanship. One of my favorite part is trying to catch a flower from my Knight. Maybe you or one of your kids can catch it for Mom to make her feel special? You really don’t know which team is going to win and boo’ing is encouraged, because it’s all in good fun.

Knotts Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival Elote

Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival Tasting Card Deal 8 for $30!

It’s that time of year again where we can all say, “Yay!” to All Things Boysenberry! Lucky for us, we don’t have to go far, because it’s celebrated right here in Orange County where it became famous. The boysenberry is a cross between a loganberry, red raspberry and blackberry and is named after its originator Rudolf Boysen. Back then Knott’s Berry Farm was a working farm, and the Knott family were the first to successfully harvest and sell the berry. It has changed so much, but the berry is the still the same berry, and every year they throw a party for several days in honor of it. This year’s Boysenberry … READ MORE >>
