Carolina’s Italian Restaurant, a local favorite in Orange County serving authentic Italian dishes for the last 35 years, has a new Anaheim location! We were just in there for a tasting, and I found my new favorite – their Chicken Alla Anthony combo. It comes with breaded chicken breast, breaded eggplant, ricotta and spinach PLUS their famous Penne Francescana which includes a creamy meat sauce (alfredo sauce + meat sauce mixture) with mushrooms, green peas, and mozzarella. Great Wolf Lodge Scooops Kid Spa (Mommy & Me)

Sometimes you need to make a little time to celebrate being a girl, wear tiaras, and feel like a princess. Needless to say, I was the best auntie of the day. Also our mani’s and pedi’s came with an ice cream treat at the end! At Great Wolf Lodge in SoCal, there’s a spa designed for kids called Scooops Kid Spa. We try to go to this every year. For some, it’s a tradition. The 55th Annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for the community. This annual event has brought in over $6 million for local charities since its inception in 1958. In 2012, thirteen non-profits received a combined total of over $122,581.00. This year’s theme is: Celebrating 55 Years of Helping Local Kids. The event will contribute funds to youth-oriented charities, and the festival board also permits many of them to sell food and hold games at the event where they raise thousands of dollars for their organizations.
