Mom Time @CornerBakery @OutletsatOrange

We always miss the ones that can’t make it. (Here are only a few that were available in the middle of the week.) A support group can be with whomever you want: preferably people with the same interest, have positive energy, nonjudgmental, brings you up when you’re down, helps you figure things out, and well – supportive. I belong to more than one, and I like mine, because we can talk about whatever. I also like … READ MORE >>

Single Rider Lines Are the Way to Go @ Disney California Adventure!

I was with my girlfriend Jenn the other day at Disney California Adventure trying to get one last meet-up in before school starts, and we were saying how nice it would be to go back and ride all the “adult” rides without the kids. If you know me, you know that a big light bulb went off in my head to plan it. Moms need breaks too so we asked our other girlfriend, Kirstin (who also has an annual passport) to take a morning off for ourselves and have some fun.

WON’T BACK DOWN is Heartfelt and Inspiring!

I was invited to a pre-screening this week for the new upcoming movie of Won’t Back Down and was asked to write a review. This movie was inspired by actual events and the works of dedicated parents, teachers and advocates across the country. MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL (Oscar® nominated actress), as Jamie Fitzpatrick, is a single mom working two jobs and has a child with dyslexia. Her daughter, Malia, was taken out of a good supportive school, because they had to move for more … READ MORE >>
