Aside from a brunch or dinner, I usually ask for time at the spa, a morning I can sleep in, or just time carved out where I can just run errands for me and don’t have to watch the clock. Medieval Times Buena Park Castle New Show!

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, I have frequented MEDIEVAL TIMES DINNER & TOURNAMENT in Buena Park several times over the years, and it never gets old. The best part is – I didn’t have to cook! You can give Moms a night off from household chores and remind everyone, chivalry is not dead. The dinner show is an epic battle over which Knight is the most honorable and most skilled over tournament games, jousting, sword fighting, and horsemanship. One of my favorite part is trying to catch a flower from my Knight. Maybe you or one of your kids can catch it for Mom to make her feel special? You really don’t know which team is going to win and boo’ing is encouraged, because it’s all in good fun.

Flower Fields Carlsbad Ranch Attractions

I received tickets in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.  One of my favorite things to do in the Spring is visit The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. The 50 acres of rolling hillside tecolote ranunculus is just beautiful, it blooms for six to eight weeks out of the year (March to May), and it also overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Mother’s Day 3-Course Menu at Mimi’s Cafe

Mother’s Day in America is tomorrow – Sunday, May 14th, and most Moms want to celebrate with their loved ones, but they don’t want to slave in the kitchen all day. Give Moms the day off. If you’re looking for a family-friendly option, MIMI’S CAFE offers French-inspired American comfort food. They not only want to celebrate like they do in France with a 3-Course Menu and Complimentary Raspberry Brown Butter Seasonal bread, but they want to celebrate Moms twice, because after dining on Mother’s Day, guests are invited back for Fête des Meres (Mother’s Day in France, May 28th) for a free entree. They’re also giving Moms a special gift from MIMI’S, a wildflower seed card that is ready for planting. After the flowers bloom, Mom will remember the time she spent with family and friends at MIMI’S.
