Dole Family Day Celebrates Their 2016 Rose Parade Participation with Special Tribute to Raul R. Rodriguez #DoleRose

Tournament of the Roses with Family Day! This year they are paying a special tribute to their float designer, Raul R. Rodriguez. Volunteers and their families were seen crushing coconuts that will go on the floats in this year’s Rose Parade competition. Families not only came to volunteer but enjoyed a fun-filled day with facepainting, rock climbing, balloon twisting, photos with Santa and the Rose Court, lunch from food trucks, and sampled DOLE treats like chocolate covered frozen bananas and pineapples. Medieval Times – Royal Rose Court Celebrate Their Partnership

Most recently we attended a celebration honoring the partnership between Medieval Times and the Tournament of the Roses. Medieval Times have been equestrian participants for more than 25 years. A few weekends ago, we got a sneak peak of DOLE’s Rose Parade Float on DOLE’s Family Day. Did you know they won the last three years in a row?? Pretty amazing right? They are going at it again to try for their fourth win and keep their crown. Do you think they can do it? My son wanted a Minion and my niece ran around with a Hello Kitty. Sure, why not.
