Cheesecake is a summer classic dessert that we all love. If you are looking for a lighter version alternative, try making it with ricotta and Neufchatel. Neufchatel is a creamy white cheese made from whole or partly skimmed milk in Neufchâtel, France. I found everything I needed to make this recipe at Smart & Final Extra! This dessert is super easy to make. It’s light, has low carbs, and gluten-free.
This past weekend we visited GOOD & WELL EXPO hosted by Smart & Final Extra! in Laguna Niguel, California. They had about 15 vendor booths, cooking demos with Celebrity Chef Jamie Gwen, product samples of the healthy brands they carry, and discount coupons good through Memorial Day weekend. It was a great way to learn about the product lines, and to taste them all. Many of them I did not know they sell. Something about melted cheese makes everyone want to salivate! Now that I have my own household to run, I want us to continue that tradition. Sometimes dinners are the only times we see each other. In honor of Family Meal Month in September, I’d like to share my simple and hearty Garlic Shrimp and Cheese Tortillini Recipe brought to you by SMART & FINAL. I love shopping at Smart & Final because they have everything. When cooking for my family, I always have to buy things in bulk because I’m cooking for six. Sometimes I can freeze what I don’t use. They always have a great selection of ingredients with great prices!

His fish dish is still one of my favorite dishes, and I still cherish our memory together. Thankfully, he is still with us today, but miles away, and it got me thinking. My husband doesn’t cook much either, but our two-year old … READ MORE >>
