FREE Breakfast for Students Sept 9th at SoCal McDonald’s! #BTS @McDonalds_SoCal

It’s back-to-school all around us in SoCal, and to encourage children to eat a wholesome breakfast every morning, Southern California McDonald’s restaurants would like to offer FREE Breakfast for Kids Grades K-8th on Tuesday, September 9th from 6:30 am to 9:30 am! This includes participating restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.

“McDonald’s is strongly committed to the well-being of children, and to mark the beginning of the new school year, we are excited to provide students a free breakfast meal to help them start their day off right,” said Clay Paschen, McDonald’s owner/operator and president of the McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California (MOASC).

During this time, students can choose between these items:

  • any breakfast sandwich including:
    • the Egg White Delight McMuffin – features 100% egg whites, extra lean Canadian bacon and white cheddar on an English muffin made with eight grams of whole grain, or
    • the classic Egg McMuffin – made with a freshly cracked Grade A egg, extra lean Canadian bacon, and a slice of American cheese,
  • apple slices or Yoplait Go-Gurt low-fat strawberry yogurt, AND
  • milk.

Please not that students younger than 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, and child must be present to receive this offer.

“A strong source of protein at breakfast delivers the kind of energy students need to focus in the classroom all morning long,” said Bonnie Modugno, MS, RD, consulting for Southern California McDonald’s. “McDonald’s line of breakfast sandwiches made with whole grain and served with apples and low-fat milk provides students the great start which can be a catalyst for eating well throughout the day.”
