This year, we wanted to gift our son an experience so we celebrated his 5th birthday with a LEGOLAND Adventure. Did you know that LEGOLAND Hotel guests receive a 30 minute head start into the amusement park? This is especially important if you plan to maximize your day and beat the crowds. Because we were staying only one night, we decided to drive down early Saturday morning to make it in time for early park access.

Last week we were invited to a VIP event to celebrate the Grand Opening of the NEW Buccaneer Cove. Once we got there, we were greeted by pirates. How fun is this? Here are four of the water slides.
