Disney Lunar New Year Celebration Dining/Entertainment Guide

I attended a media preview. All opinions are my own. LUNAR NEW YEAR is one of the most celebrated holidays among Asian cultures. Each country will observe it slightly different but they all commemorate with loved ones to wish each other good fortune and prosperity for the new year. I love that Disneyland Resort designates an area of Disney California Adventure Park for about three weeks (Jan. 25 through Feb. 17, 2019) so everyone who’s in the park can join in on the festivities with their family and friends. For Year of the Pig this year, guests can enjoy appearances of The Three Little Pigs (Fiddler, Fifer and Practical) in Mulan’s … READ MORE

Alpha Plant Based Burritos

Disclaimer: I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com). All opinions are my own. I haven’t been much of a burrito person much less a frozen-burrito person, but I do visit the frozen department from time-to-time when I need emergency items in my freezer. I remember in high school, they used to let us go off campus for lunch. Some of us ended up at the nearest QuikTrip convenience store where we can find cheap microwaveable eats plus they had a ton of drink options. It was also a way for us to try things we couldn’t get at home. For work, frozen meals were an easy choice … READ MORE

January is National Learn to Ski / Snowboard Month + Mt High Specials

Most of us in Southern California are so snow-deprived, we rush out the minute we learn there’s fresh powder. There is rain + snow in the forecast. I wonder how many people will call in sick so they can visit a ski resort. Lucky for us, Mountain High Ski Resort is about a 90-minute drive away from Orange County and Los Angeles making it great for day trips! We always try to get there annually, and we always take lessons at the beginning of the season as a refresher course. My kids always have a blast! Mountain High is where Southern Californians learn to ski and snowboard. Even international snowboarding superstars … READ MORE
