Disney Pixar’s Cars 3 Tour Stops at Downtown Disney June 12-13, 2017 + Recipes!

The Walt Disney Company and Dole Food Company have collaborated to encourage families to make healthier choices with Disney-branded fruits and vegetables. This summer Disney and Dole will debut healthy programs with Disney·Pixar’s CARS 3 theme and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi later this year. They’re taking it on the road with a CARS 3 Road to Races nationwide tour with stops in 27 cities across the county. This week they are in San Diego, then they’re going to be at Downtown Disney in Anaheim next week before they go to Los Angeles! See the tour schedule below!

As a Mom, it is hard to think of myself when there is so much that needs to be done, but I do believe making time for myself to recharge is important. I am looking forward to summer break when I don’t have to wake up at 6:30 am to nag my kids to get ready for school, no more homework tears, and let’s not mention occasional road rage during school drop-off and pick-up lines. I do get a lot done in the morning when I am by myself – running errands and sometimes I get to meet friends for coffee or a hike. What a treat! (We are going to have fun this summer too. I am currently working on a bucket list to do with the children this summer.) But first, let me tell you about one of the mornings when the children were in school. I met with blogger friends to try Facialworks Facial Bar in Newport Beach. I have tried them once before at another event and really enjoyed it.

Summer Recipes from Smart & Final Good & Well Expo!

This past weekend we visited GOOD & WELL EXPO hosted by Smart & Final Extra! in Laguna Niguel, California. They had about 15 vendor booths, cooking demos with Celebrity Chef Jamie Gwen, product samples of the healthy brands they carry, and discount coupons good through Memorial Day weekend. It was a great way to learn about the product lines, and to taste them all. Many of them I did not know they sell. I really enjoyed watching the cooking demonstrations because Chef Jamie kept it simple and she’s fun to watch. Right after, they passed out samples and she gave out copies of her recipes. My Experience with AMAZING LASH STUDIO + Tips

Firefly Mouth Rinse and Rotary Toothbrushes

Dental hygiene has always been important to me for my family, because our smiles is what everyone notices first. Plus, I know how expensive corrective procedures can be so I make sure we don’t miss our biannual check ups at the dentist as well as take preventative measures, but it is often challenging to get my children to brush their teeth every morning and before bedtime so I try to find ways to make it fun. There are a lot of products out there geared toward children, and I have found that if they select their own brushes, it will motivate them to use it more.
